How to Register Your Business on the Peppol Network
Every business on Peppol has a participant identifier, the equivalent of a phone number for invoices. You need one before you can send or receive anything. This tutorial explains how registration works and how Invoro handles it for you.

Choose your participant identifier
A Peppol identifier is built from a scheme (for example your country's VAT scheme) and your business number. In most cases your VAT number or national company registration number is used. Invoro picks the correct scheme for your country automatically.

Confirm your company details
In your Invoro dashboard, enter your legal company name, address, and tax identifiers. Accuracy matters here because these details are published in the Peppol directory and used by other businesses to find you.

Get published in the directory (SMP)
Invoro registers you with a Service Metadata Publisher, which tells the rest of the network that your business exists, which Access Point serves you, and which document types you can receive.

Wait for activation
Registration usually completes quickly. Once active, other participants can look you up and send you invoices, and you can start sending your own.

Verify you are reachable
Use Invoro's network lookup to search for your own identifier. If your business appears with the expected document types, you are fully registered and ready to exchange invoices.
